D.O.B 2/ August /1944.

Began training in Aikido when he entered university and attained his 2nd degree blackbelt 4 years later.

After graduation:

1971 Joined the Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Kansai Aikido Club, organized by Takuma Hisa

1978 Awarded Kyoju Dairi (teaching license) Hisa Takuma’s proxy

1981 Became a full-time professional Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu teacher

1994 Established the Finnish branch of Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu. Also, began to further promote the art in Japan and overseas.

Currently, he continues to teach at dojos in Japan, Finland, New York and Australia.
